Ref #1134; Emily's mother made the bridal gown of satin and
venetian lace appliques and also made the bridal veil of two
layers of the finest tulle with zigzag edging. The headpiece
was made by overlaying a headband with matching satin and
matching pieces of the venetian lace used on the dress with
adding pearls and tiny ribbon. The tulle was tightly gathered
and attached to the back of the headpiece. Her mother also
made Aunt Julia's bridesmaid dress, and her mother of the bride
dress. The bridesmaid's dresses and her mother's skirt was of
an apricot colored polyester satin. Her grandmother, Olena Ham,
made the flower-girl dress for her cousin, Jenny Perry. The
wedding cake came from Ukrop's. Caston's photographed the
wedding. Her mother organized and planned the reception after
the wedding at the church. Ladies at the church helped serve
and clean-up afterwards. After her mother carefully making a
notebook of do-not-forget lists, the one thing that was
forgotten was her mother's mother of the bride dress. Her daddy
had to drive back home to get it about just an hour before the
